Project: Taylor Electric Block Party
Producer for the Portland Street Art Alliance and Killian Pacific’s “Taylor Electric Block Party”, an event celebrating the completion of a 3-year, 80-mural arts preservation project surrounding the recently developed Taylor Electric Building, now called the “Clay Creative Building” in SE Portland, OR.
Was responsible for all event sales systems and logistics, the creation of an original merchandise line, and the sourcing and coordination of market vending artists. Wrote and submitted permits for OLCC alcohol service license. Trained and managed staff on-site for all sales terminals for the main entrance, bar locations, and merchandise locations. Created a scaled site map for day-of placement of all vendors and entertainment according to fire marshall safety requirements.
Key Results:
• Produced over $12,000 in revenue from this all-day all-ages event, benefiting the local arts non-profit.
• Created strong brand visibility for PSAA, and supported positive PR and community sentiment campaign for Killian Pacific’s new “Clay Creative” building development while reinforcing their initiative to pay homage to the local arts communities.
