Project: Creative Operations Development


As the acting Creative Operations Director, I initiated, planned, and drove the execution of a company-wide operational reorganization for Lonesome Pictopia, a Portland-based custom design services studio.

β€’      Defined processes and operating standards by meeting with client stakeholders to discover current systems.
β€’      Identified and unblocked operational bottlenecks by developing and improving workflows and pipelines for brand strategies including sales, marketing, and communications by standardizing procedures and resources.
β€’      Planned and managed cross-functional teams and project assets to develop and launch a custom website with optimized UX/ UI, covering e-commerce and wholesale functionality. 
β€’ Integrated an automated tech stack utilizing the following software: Airtable, Google Suite, Harvest, Shopify, Slack, Zapier, and Zoom.
β€’ Coached company leadership and trained staff on change management and system integration practices to improve communication and transparency of project status across teams.

Key Results:
β€’ Met all goals within scope, timeline, and cost according to the project charter.
β€’ Eliminated the disarray of a β€œpen-and-paper” management system and integrated the tools and resources required to scale business operations.
β€’ Developed and delivered an operations handbook, training manual, and resource guide for a scalable model and streamlined onboarding practices.

β€’ Measured a revenue increase of 50% within the 6 months following project closing.
